Maruti Suzuki India Ltd announced that its cumulative exports crossed 5 lakh units. The company said that 1,180 cars were shipped from the Mumbai port to various Latin American countries. Maruti Suzuki, which sells its cars in all five continents, stated that Europe accounted for 56 per cent of its cumulative exports. It was followed by the Netherlands at 67,700 units, Italy at over 41,000 and the UK with over 34,000 stood as the largest buyers within the European countries.
