Normally 2004 model honday city gxi,comes the alpine music system in it is good but lacks features (no clock etc),but the Speakers leave a lot to be desired.Many of my friends opined that the complete unit was just awesome. Experienced people suggested me go for component speakers from the R-series or if have the budget, X-series of alpine.They advised me to ask the dealer to give demo before changing it (dont expect earth shaking bass from this outfit).

I have seen many people (who are particular about music) removed the entire alphine deck & speakers and Installed New one avaiable in the market.Some brands works out economical.The sound effect really kicks.

The other feature which I felt missing is a good digital clock in the Alpine system that comes with City ZX and I think there is no space where you can put one if you want to buy from aftermarket.
