Info Sys does lot of maths/analytical related questions; I will start posting it once I get it from my friends who attended the interview

Sample questions :-
- How many 4 digit numbers that can be divided by 4 can be formed using the numbers 1,2,3,4; Do not repeat any numbers

Answer: 6 (4312,4132.3412...) basically put 12 and 32 in the end

Infosys aptitude test & Interview consists of variety of puzzles.It is better to go through any one of the books which is suggested below.

1. Quantitative Aptitiute - R.S.Aggarwal
2. Analytical Reasoning - Barron's GRE - 12th Edition.

Basically what they look for in Infosys interview is your confidence,communication skills,& presence of mind.Your approach in solving puzzles is very important.They keenly look at your team management skills.i.e. how would you tackle a problem in a team or unhappy result in the team.

I have consolidated some questions which I and my friends faced.Hope this would be useful for the aspirants.

. Tell about yourself?

. Apart from your resume and tell us something personally about yourself.

. Why aren't you seeing yourself as a oracle developer now?

. Tell us something about your recent project?

. What is your opinion about the pratical applications of the project?

. What do you feel about this job which you have applied for?

. Why should Infosys take you?

. How was your college life?

. What is your extra curricular activities?

. Any other field other than software interests you?

. What about relocating to someother place rather than the place you have applied for?

. What are your strength and weakness?(Suppose If your strength is "creativity",you must tell the instance where you exhibited it)

. Have you ever worked in a team?(show them you are a good team worker)

. Tell us some Instances of flops and successes in the team work.Give reasons why you failed or succeeded?

. They will ask puzzles in the interview too.You should be prepared for it (this is to test your analysis)

Needless to say,equip yourself for technical questions (concepts).

Also be through with the latest headlines in the News Paper,heads of Major IT comapnies and difference between infosys and other IT companies etc.

Think yourself,be original and sane.Be honest. Bright future awaits you.

There are 3 societies A, B, C.
A lent cars to B and C as many as they had already. After some time B gave as many tractors to and C as many as they have. After sometime c did the same thing. At the end of this transaction each one of them had 24. Find the cars each orginally had.

4.There are four runners on the stadium,namely w,X,Y & Z.Three friendsAjit,Vijay & Surya made the statement.

(i) Ajit said either W or Z will be winners
(ii)Vijay said W will not win.
(iii)Surya said both Y & Z will not Win.
One among the three is correct.Which one?

5.There are N Prize Winners in a school.After adding X Prize Coupns 46 additional prize coupns have to issued.Find N & X.

6. There are two developers in a software firm,Anil & vijay. Anil Claimed that vijay's work experience is twice as his.Vijay accepted.Anil once again questioned, two years before vijay had said that his work experience was thrice as his.Vijay said "it is true".What are their work experience?

7. A bus was on the way to delhi.It had travelled 180 miles, a helicopter also started with 10 times
speed of the bus.Find the distance when they meet from the starting point.

8. There are N Prize Winners in a school.After adding X Prize Coupns 46 additional prize coupns have to issued.Find N & X.

9. Joe has 19 green balls & One Yellow ball.Joe put 10 balls in a basket & another 10 balls in a
wooden box.What is the Possibility that Yellow ball is in a right jar.

10. Joe picks a bus from the bus station at a particular time.Joe was late on one day by 30 minutes & saw the bus 5 KM before the bus station.If his speed is 12KM/hr what is the speed of the bus?

11. Ajay purchased 3 clock s& set to correct time.

Clock 1 - Runs correct time.

Clock 2 - slows one minute a day.

Clock 3 - One Minute faster per day.

After how many days all 3 clocks will show correct time?

If you happen to take Infosys interview in Bangalore start at least 2-3 hours from the place you stay; one of my friend got stuck in the traffic jam and he was late; he thinks this may be one of the reason
