Normally inteview process is aimed at discovering the "personality" of the candidate.Personality does'nt refer only to external appearnce but total mental make up of the candidate. It is better to concentrate on few important points to come out successful.

Home work to be done one day prior to the interview

Prepare about your career & education in chronological order

Education: Reason for choosing the particular course.

Career:your past & present employers & your suitability of your present job which you have applied for.

Your Strength and Weakness

You must be Prepared for questions regarding your technical & personal strength. If possible explain them with instances where & how you have exhibited it.Regarding weakness, explain them how you overcome it.

Prepare for the some FAQ questions

- Tell us about yourself? - Start from education & give emphasis on your recent experience.

- About your Boss? - Give a positive impression.

- Why should we select you for this position?- Explain them about your experience & achivements.

- About your Salary- Opportunity prove your talent is most important & don't forget to tell your present drawing. It is premature to discuss the salary at time of interview.Disucss it on the table.

On the day of interview

- Make a folder to hold Call letter & your original academic & professional testimonials & extra copy of your resume (dont assume employers will have your resume & some conduct group interviews.)

- Dress soberly with polished shoes and avoid perfumes. If you are a lady wear a saree or chudidhar & avoid flowers & sound making bangles.

- Reach the venue before half an hour & get yourself prepared.

- if you have any experience letters, scan it and put it in an online storage like yahoo briefcase; this will be handy when you travel for interview and if the employer asks for some documentation

good luck!
